Front safety belts with tensioner system: removal and assembly
Model with tensioner unit on door strut.
  WARNING
Before carrying out work for removing and straightening dents and bumps on the bodywork the belt tensioner units should be removed.
1 - Belt vertical control
q   Removal of belt height control → Chapter
2 - Cover
q   Fitted
3 - Support fittings
4 - Belt support fittings
q   Attached with 2 Philips screws
q   1.5 Nm
5 - Belt automatic device
q   Removing → Anchor
q   The fastening tabs determine the position of the belt automatic device
q   The removal of used parts which have been triggered is carried out by the Distribution Centre or the Importer
6 - Safety nut
q   20 Nm
q   Forms part of the tensioner unit
7 - Tensioner unit
q   Removing → Anchor
q   Forms part of the safety belt
q   On loosening the safety nut → Item, the belt tensor is locked, and on tightening it is reactivated
8 - Front support fittings
q   Removing → Chapter
9 - Front seat belt buckle
q   Removing → Chapter
Removing
–  Remove the heel moulding → Chapter
–  Remove the side lining or the lower lining from strut B → Chapter or → Chapter
–  Loosen the safety nut -6-; in this way, it is unbolted and the tensioner unit is unlocked -7-
–  Remove the belt support fastening -4-, the support fitting -3- and the front loop -8-
–  Undo the belt automatic device -5-
–  Remove the tensioner unit -7- from the supports
  WARNING
Assembly should be carried out in reverse order and it is obligatory to follow the established order of procedure.
