Removing and installing selector mechanism cover
t  Shift mechanism cover: Removing → Anchor
t  Shift mechanism cover: Fitting → Anchor
Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Lever -U30800-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Removing the gear selector handle → Chapter.
  W00-2169
–  Open the ashtray in the centre console and remove the inner trim -arrows- using the lever -U30800-.
  A37-0456
–  Release the 4 retainers -arrows- and lift off the cover -1- including the guide.
–  Disconnect the electric connector on the side of the cover -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order, observing following:
–  Fit the selector lever handle → Chapter.
