Temperature sensor for outer temperature G17
Temperature sensor for outer temperature -G17-
Function:
–  The temperature sensor regulates the temperature flap and the cool air depending on the temperature.
–  Emergency working in case of fault: the temperature sensor -G17- in cases of faults r; the system continues to work and takes +10º C as a reference value.
–  Check: by self-diagnosis with the -V.A.G 1551-.
Removing
–  The outer temperature sensor -G17- is fitted inside the rear-view mirror housing: Left guide, right side Right guide left side
–  Removing the rear-view mirror. → Bodywork, exterior assembly work; Rep. Gr.66
–  Removing the door lining. → Bodywork, exterior assembly work; Rep. Gr.57
