Manual switch for the air conditioning -F129-: checking
   
t  The hand switch can be removed without taking the cooling agent out of the circuit.
t  Visual check: make sure that the 10.8 mm x 1.8 mm o-ring is properly fitted in the groove.
The switch part between terminals 1 and 2 of the connector, turns off the magnetic coupling -N25- should the pressure in the cooling agent circuit be very high or the cooling circuit is not sufficiently full:

–  It opens under 1.2 bar pressure and closes again over 2.4 bar pressure (switch limit)
–  It opens over de 32 bar pressure and closes again to under 24 bar (switch limit)

Checking the switch part:
–  Briefly bridge the connections on terminals 1 and 2 of the connector with the engine of the vehicle running. Should the magnetic coupling -N25- come on, the cooling agent circuit is empty.
The switch part between terminals 3 and 4 of the connector connects the cooling fluid ventilator -V7- on second speed, through the ventilator control unit -J293-, when the pressure increases in the cooling agent circuit:
–  It closes over 16 bar pressure and opens again at under 12.5 bar (switch limit)

Evaluation of the measurements of the hand switch for air conditioning -F129-
t  The following checks are made in place.
To check the power of the air conditioning, the following measurements must be take:
–  Check the filling level of the installation. If the pressure is low (due to loss of cooling agent, for instance.) The air conditioning turns off.
–  Check the ventilator. If there is a pressure increase (overpressure) in the cooling agent circuit, the ventilator for the cooling fluid -V7- will jump at the following higher speed.
–  Check the turning off of the air conditioning. If the pressure is very high (due to insufficient engine cooling, for example) the air conditioning turns off.
