Bracket for air conditioner compressor: removing and installing, AYQ engine

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  torque spanners -SAT 8010-
  Note!
t  The compressor support and its parts can be removed and installed without opening the refrigerating circuit
t  To remove the Ribbed belt-V: → 4 cyl. diesel engine, mechanical; Rep. Gr.13

1 - Bracket for the injection pump, the alternator, the compressor and the vane pump for the powersteering
Removal
–  Pull out the lock carrier → General body repairs-assembly work; Rep. Gr.50
–  Alternator removal → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27
–  Removal of PAS vane pump → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.48
–  Dismount the injection pump → Preheating and direct injection system with distributor pump; Rep. Gr.23
–  Remove the compressor from the support and fix it to the body with a suitable tool (e.g. soldering wire) → Fig.
–  Loosen the bolts that fix the bracket to the cylinder block.
Installation
t  Before installing it is necessary:
–  Replace fixing bolts.
–  Note the order of tightening of the securing bolts.
t  Tightening sequence: Tighten right upper bolt first, then right lower bolt, then center bolts and bolts on left last (as seen from direction of travel)
2 - Injection pump
q   Removal: → Preheating and direct injection system with distributor pump; Rep. Gr.23
3 - Power assisted steering vane pump:
q   Removal: → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.48
4 - Hexagonal bolt
q   M10 × 65
q   45 Nm
5 - Hexagonal bolt
q   M10 × 45
q   45 Nm
6 - Compressor
q   With magnetic coupling -N25-
q   magnetic coupling -N25-: repair → Chapter
Removal
–  Unbolt hexagon bolts → Item a few threads and loosen item socket screwed in the compressor. Then completely unbolt the hexagon bolts.
–  Remove the compressor from the support and fix it to the body with a suitable tool (e.g. soldering wire) → Fig.

Fixing of the air conditioner compressor to the body
If the air conditioner compressor is removed and the refrigerating agent circuit does not open the compressor must be fixed to the body with an suitable tool (e.g. welding wire).
Make sure that the coolant hoses of the compressor are not taut.
