  Caution
Disconnect battery earth strap before working on the electrical system.
  Note!
t  Before disconnecting the battery check anti-theft coding on the radio
t  If the battery is reconnected check the vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric comfort system, etc.) following the indications in the Workshop Manual and/or the Operating Instructions
t  First remove the refrigerating agent with the unit -SAT 4006B-
t  It is possible to continue using the service instruments used to date → V.A.G and SAT workshop equipment filing cabinet
t  All the coolant agent circuit components that are open must be closed off with plugs in order to prevent moisture from entering
t  Underlined parts may be replaced after dismounting the evaporator
Removal
–  Remove the refrigerating agent with the unit -SAT 4006B-.
  Note!
It is prohibited to release coolant agent into the athmosphere.
–  Drain coolant.
–  Dismantling instrument panel. → General body repairs - Assembly work, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Remove the heating and air conditioning units.

2 - Fresh air blower with overheating fuse series resistor -N24-
q   Removal and installation → Fig.
3 - Air intake box
q   With fresh air flap and air recirculation
4 - Suction ring
5 - Depressant for fresh air flap and air recirculation
6 - Fresh air blower -V2-
7 - Housing, upper part
8 - Seal bead
q   Blocks the water
9 - Clip
10 - Air conditioning distributor box
q   Do not continue to take apart
11 - Heat exchanger
12 - Evaporator
q   After the dismount you should renew all the coolant
13 - Gasket
q   Renew
