  WARNING
t  High voltage on high-voltage system of hybrid vehicle! Health risk for persons with life-sustaining systems.
t  Following procedure also requires work on high-voltage system. All work on vehicles with high-voltage systems must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Work must be advised by a high-voltage technician.

Electric air conditioner compressor
  WARNING
Danger of short circuit
The air conditioner compressor operates with 288 Volts in a speed range of 800 to 8,600 rpm.
Do not touch the air conditioner compressor when commissioning, risk of short circuits.
The air conditioner compressor draws refrigerant gas from the evaporator, compresses it and sends it to the condenser.
  Note
t  The air-conditioner compressor contains refrigerant oil which may be mixed with refrigerant R134a at any temperature.
t  The refrigerant should be specified on the model label that has to be used for the respective air conditioner compressor fitted. The power is controlled using the speed.
t  The engine should only be started once the refrigerant circuit has been assembled completely → Chapter
t  The air conditioner compressor has an internal oil circuit to ensure that the air conditioner compressor is not damaged when the refrigerant circuit is empty. This means that about 40 to 50 cm3 of refrigerant oil remains in the air conditioner compressor.
t  The air-conditioner compressor is fitted with an overpressure valve.
