O-rings
O-rings
t  Use only O-rings which are resistant to refrigerant R134a and to the corresponding refrigerant oils. The O-rings are no longer colour coded. Either black or colour-coded O-rings may now be used, without distinction.
t  Ensure that the interior diameter of the O-rings is correct.
→ Rep. gr.87
→ Parts catalogue ETKA
t  The O-rings may only be used once.
t  Before assembly, lubricate the O-rings slightly with refrigerant oil (PAG oil).
  Note
t  When blowing out the parts with compressed air and nitrogen, always use an appropriate device (workshop extraction system) to suck up the mixture of gas from the parts.
t  Once the repair work has been completed, screw plugs (with seals) into all the valve connections and service connections.
Putting the air-conditioner into service. Check the vehicle-specific charge quantities → Rep. gr.87.
Do not top up a charged refrigerant circuit; discharge refrigerant present and recharge system.
