| Evacuate refrigerant circuit. |

| Remove air conditioner compressor. |
Note! | In the event of internal damage to air conditioner compressor, check refrigerant hoses. Renew any hoses in which, e.g., shavings are found. |

| Clean (purge) the refrigerant circuit with compressed air and nitrogen → Chapter. |

| Renew receiver or dryer cartridge, reservoir and restrictor. |
| –
| Examine the expansion valve for dirt or corrosion; renew if necessary. |

| Assemble refrigerant circuit, evacuate and charge. |
