Removing and installing central flap control motor V70 > < Removing and installing left temperature flap control motor V158|Removal

  Note
The control motor lever is colour-coded. The lever for the left temperature flap control motor -V158- is red (yellow for right-hand drive vehicles).
Re-install all parts removed in reverse order; note the following:
–  Route wiring harness so that it cannot come into contact with moving components (e.g. control motor lever).
–  Interrogate and erase fault memory ; perform basic setting .

Check the function of the control motor as follows: connect both contacts “5” and “6” to a plug of the control motor to a 12 V direct current voltage source. Control motor then moves only in one direction as far as stop. Interchanging positive and negative reverses direction. Use the adapter cable for this purpose → Chapter.
