Procedure

This description refers to the procedure with vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 5051-.

–	Connect vehicle diagnosis testing and information system -VAS 5051- as follows:

–	Open ash tray -3-.

–	Press flap -1-on both sides slightly in direction of arrow. Ash tray insert -2- will spring forwards slightly and can be removed.

–	Pull opened ash tray housing out of centre console.

–	Join connector of diagnosis cable, 3 m with voltage supply -VAS 5051/1- or diagnosis cable, 5 m without voltage supply -VAS 5051/3- to diagnosis connection.

–	Switch ignition on.
