Removing
–  Remove the radio or navigation system: → Radio, telephone, navigation.; Rep. Gr.91
  E87-0167
–  Remove the lower cover, fitted under pressure -arrows- with the tool -U-30800-.
–  Remove the two electric connectors if there are regulators for heated seats.

–  Remove the five screws that secure the cover to the central dashboard, screws with torx head.
–  Put your hand through the hole and move the control and indication unit backwards very carefully, as well as the switches and drinks tray, until you can remove the cover.

–  Remove the connectors -arrows- from the indication unit, as well as the connectors for the upper switches.

–  The control and indication unit is fixed to the cover with two screws on the inside.
