t	Pressing key “AUTO” cancels all the adjustments that differ from the automatic functioning.

t	In “ECON” mode, the compressor and additional heating is disconnected; ventilation is still regulated electronically.

t	If, before disconnecting the ignition, the options are different from the automatic mode, the selected functions will be memorised permanently. Only the function “Circulating air service” will be erased 20 minutes after disconnecting the ignition.

t	Differences from automatic functioning → Service instructions.

If, after connecting the ignition, all the symbols on the display field of the indication and control unit for Climatronic -E87- flash, there is a problem with the system. If this is the case, first consult the fault memory. → Measurement, information and diagnosis of vehicles system VAS 5051 in "Guided fault finding" function.
