| The radiator and condenser are clean; clean if they are not. |

| The compressor Poly-V belt is in good condition and properly tensed. |

| All air flow ducts, protective covers, gaskets/seals are in good condition and correctly fitted. |

| The air flow through the dust and pollen filter is not affected by dirt. |
l
| The fresh air is taken in through the fresh air inlets in the engine compartment and in the interior. |
l
| The water drainage valves in the fresh air inlets in the engine compartment are in good condition. |
l
| The vehicle should not be in direct sunlight |
l
| The engine must be warm. |
l
| Consult the fault memory and erase it. |
l
| Perform the basic configuration. |
l
| All aerators on the dashboard are open. |
l
| Settings for the control and indication unit -E87-: |

| Temperature selection “LO”. |
–
| Compresser activated (the light on the “ECON” button lights up). |
l
| Functions with the engine is running: |
–
| The refrigerant liquid fan -V7- operates (at least at one speed). |
–
| The fresh air turbine -V2- is running at maximum speed. |
–
| The air recirculation/fresh air flap is in the position “Air recirculation” (approx. 1 minute after starting the engine, the fresh air turbine -V2- takes air from the footwell on the passenger side). |
