1 - Information plate
q   With data about the type and amount of refrigeration agent
2 - Plenum chamber water drainage
q   Both sides of the plenum chamber

3 - Rear window heater -Z1-
q   The request is sent by the Climatronic control unit -J255- over the data bus, the Heated rear window -Z1- is activated by the Onboard network control unit -J519- → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051
q   Removing and fitting the heated rear window → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.64
4 - Forced air extractor
q   Fitted in the rear, underneath the rear bumper
q   Sealing lips in vent opening must move freely and close by themselves
q   To ensure proper functioning of passenger compartment ventilation, air ducts must not be blocked by luggage compartment lining

5 - Liquid tank
q   This may only be removed when the refrigerant circuit is empty; bring the vehicle to a support workshop specialised in air conditioning work
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
6 - Condenser
q   This may only be removed when the refrigerant circuit is empty; bring the vehicle to a support workshop specialised in air conditioning work

q   Removing and refitting the refrigerant tubes → Chapter

7 - Stone deflector for the condenser
q   Only fitted with certain optional equipment → Parts catalogue
8 - Thermosensor for outside temperature -G17-
q   To reach the temperature sensor, remove the fron fog light grille: → Front bumper moulding; Rep. Gr.63
q   Remove the connection from the temperature sensor and extract it from the allotment in the air conduit
q   The measurement value from the Outside temperature sensor -G17- is analysed by the Control unit with indication lamps in the instrument panel -J285- and transmitted over the comfort system data bus to the Climatronic control unit -J255- → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051
9 - Compressor control valve, air conditioning -N280-
q   Check activation and operation → Chapter
10 - Compressor
q   Compressor: detach from bracket and refit → Chapter
q   Refrigerant pipes: removing and fitting in the compressor → Chapter
q   Compressor: Removing and fitting → Chapter
