Capacity
Capacity
Filling quantities for refrigerant R134a and refrigerant oil: → Climate control - with refrigerant R134a
–  Drain, empty and fill the air conditioning circuit. → Climate control - with refrigerant R134a
  Note
t  Depending on the production and engine, the construction of the compressor may vary. → Parts catalogue
t  Originally “Denso” (type“7 SEU 16” or “7 SEU 17”) compressors were factory fitted, from model year 2004 other compressors were fitted (“Sanden” or “Zexel”). → Parts catalogue and → Air conditioning - with coolant R134a
t  Depending on the type of compressor (“6 SEU 14”, “7 SEU 16” or “7 SEU 17” different capacities of oil filling for refrigerant machine circuits have been prepared → Parts catalogue and → Air conditioning - with coolant R134a
t  This compressor is available as a spare part with different capacities of oil content. This is why the exact reference number must be noted → Parts catalogue and → Air conditioning - with refrigerant R134a. The reason for these variations in the amount of oil lies in the structure of the compressor; these quantities of oil must be taken into consideration. Too much oil in the circuit will lead to more intense pressure and a lowering of the refrigeration output of the system; if there is not enough oil there may be lubrication problems in the compressor.
t  Always fill refrigerant circuit as far as upper tolerance limit (some refrigerant remains in filler hoses).
t  Refrigerant circuit may only be filled with approved refrigerant oils. → Parts catalogue
t  Zexel, Sanden and Denso compressors use different types of refrigerant oil: → Climate control - with coolant R134a → Parts catalogue
t  Any refrigeration oil that has remained in open containers for a certain time may not be reused because the oil absorbs humidity and cannot be used any more.
t  Other notes → Air conditioning - with refrigerant R134a.
