Check the heating performance of the air conditioning
Check the heating performance of the air conditioning
  Note
t  Following filling If the coolant circuit is not purged of air, this air will collect in the heat exchanger reducing its heating potential; there may also be noise produced or the client will notice different temperatures in the air coming from the passenger and driver side vents.
t  Solution:
t  Carry out a long test run at high engine speeds (at least ten minutes with a minimum engine speed of 2500 rpm). Use low gears so that the vehicle does not have to be driven quickly.
t  If a client complains of low heating power at certain engine speeds, check the fitting of the heating heat exchanger in the cooling liquid circuit. If the liquid coolant tubes from the engine have been mixed up (feed and return), the liquid will flow in the wrong direction through the heat exchanger → Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr.19.
