Checking the pressure signal of the High pressure sender G65.
Checking the pressure signal of the High pressure sender -G65-.
  Note
t  In vehicles with automatic climate control, the control and indicator panel, Climate control unit -J255-, processes the signal from the high pressure sender -G65- and activates the compressor via the compressor regulator valve, air conditioning -N280-.
t  In vehicles with manual climate control, it is the Air conditioning control unit -J301- which processes the signal from the high pressure sender -G65- and activates the compressor via the compressor regulator valve, air conditioning -N280-.
t  The cooling power cannot be tested once the High pressure sender -G65- is removed, theClimatronic control unit -J255-/Air conditioning control unit -J301- will not activate the compressor → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
t  Different fitting locations depending on the engine, for vehicles with 2.0 litre Diesel engine, theHigh pressure sender -G65-for example is not fitted on the coolant hose from the expansion valve to the condenser; it is fitted instead to the tube from the compressor to the condenser.
t  On vehicles with 4-cyl. engines, the connector of the High pressure sender -G65- may be removed without first removing other components (access from above).
–  Remove the sound proofing element (if fitted) → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.50.
