–  Unscrew the bolt -A- (tightening torque: 20 Nm).
  Note
t  To loosen and tighten the bolt -A- secure the drive plate -B- with the tool.
t  Replace the bolt -A- (due to use of fixing agent).
t  If the pulley cannot be removed with the compressor in place, release the compressor from the engine → Chapter.

–  Lever out the drive plate -A- using 2 screwdrivers -B- uniformly and very carefully.
  Note
t  Note when levering the drive plate -A- to avoid damaging the pulley collar -C-.
t  There are different versions of the pulley -C- and the drive plate -A-, for this reason, note the type carefully → Parts catalogue.

–  Remove circlip -A-.
–  Remove the pulley -B-.
  Note
t  Replace the circlip -A-.
t  Take special care when fitting the circlip -A- that it is not bent any more than is necessary for fitting.

t  Fit the circlip -A- on the correct side, the side with the insertion rebate -C- should be on the side facing away from the compressor (the flat side faces the compressor).
t  Ensure that the circlip is correctly seated in the groove in the compressor bracket.
t  Clean the compressor bracket before fitting the pulley; it should be quite easy to fit the pulley in position. (fitting should be completed without having to apply any significant force).
