Check the operation of the Servomotor for the fresh air / air recirculation flapV154
Check the operation of the Servomotor for the fresh air / air recirculation flap -V154-
–  Remove the glove compartment: → Bodywork, interior fitting work; Rep. Gr.68
–  Switch on ignition.
   
–  Set the control for the Fresh air turbine -V2--G- to level 3.
–  Turn the rotating control for air distribution -B- to the position “air distribution to the dashboard air vents”.
–  The button -F- for the fresh air / air recirculation flap is not activated (fresh air option, the LED indicator on the button is not lit).
t  The air is taken from the air inlet inside the plenum chamber.
–  Press the button -F- (air recirculation option, the LED indicator on the button is lit).
t  The air is taken in through the rear of the glove compartment (air recirculation option).

–  Turn the rotating control for air distribution -B- to the position “air distribution to the windscreen”-D-.
t  The indicator for the button -F- is turned off and the fresh air / air recirculation flap moves to the position “fresh air option”.
  Note
t  If the operation is correct then the windows will fog up, test:
t  the dust and pollen filter for contamination → Chapter.
t  the forced airing of the passenger compartment → Chapter.
t  the passenger compartment for water leakage.
t  the fresh air inlet in the plenum chamber and the water drainage from the plenum chamber → Chapter.
t  the joins between the various air inlets and the vehicle for damage or leaks.
t  If operation is not correct, check the electronics of the Heating control unit -J65- and the activation of the Servomotor for the fresh air / air recirculation -V154-.
