| The air flow through the dust and pollen filter is not obstructed by dirt. |

| The Bowden cable and the levers for the operation of the temperature flaps are in good condition. |

| The liquid coolant thermostat must be in good condition. |

| The sponge material seal in the heat exchanger in the heating must be in good condition → Chapter. |

| For diesel engine vehicles the operation of the additional heating and the activation of the Heating control unit -J65- must function correctly → Chapter. |

| In vehicles with direct petrol injection “FSI” the activation of the engine control unit by the heating control unit -J65- is correct |
