t  Read self-diagnosis of auxiliary heater using vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system -VAS 505X-.
t  If parts of the fuel system were removed or renewed, ensure that all components for fuel delivery to the auxiliary heater are properly installed.
t  Mark the coolant hoses for identification purposes to avoid confusion after they have been removed.
t  Following repair work in the vicinity of the auxiliary heater fuel line, check:
t  If the fuel lines are routed flush with the vehicle underbody and are protected against mechanical damage.
t  that the supplementary heater fuel line is protected from heating which might disturb operation.
t  that the fuel line does not come in contact with parts that become hot.
