Grease all bearings and contact surfaces with grease or lubricant → Electronic spare parts catalogue (ETKA).

Removing and installing securing clip
–  Keep gear lever fixed -2-.
–  Press in spacer bush -3- in direction of arrow.
–  Remove safety washer -1-.

Installing compression spring
–  From above, attach reinforcement -A- of compression spring onto guide -1-.
–  Pull compression spring reinforcement downwards -B- and attach it guide from below.

This is shown in the figure with the selection bracket removed.
