  Note!
Always replace the gaskets and the ring gaskets.
–  Drain the coolant → Chapter.
–  Remove the alternator: → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27
–  Detach the coolant hose from the connecting sleeve.
   
–  Remove the fixing bolts -1- from the connecting sleeve -2- and remove the connecting sleeve -2- with the coolant thermostat -4-.
–  Turn the coolant thermostat -4- 1/4 turn (90°) to the left and remove it from the connecting sleeve -2-.
