Premise
l  Engine must be cold
Operation process
–  Loosen the screw joint of the double clamp between the catalytic converter and the intermediate silencer → Item.
   
–  Place the double clamp at a distance -a- = 5 mm from the mark on the catalytic converter pipe (lower bolts in horizontal position) and tighten slightly the front joint.

–  Install the double clamp, ensuring that the bolt end does not project over the lower edge of the double clamp.

–  Insert the pre-silencer-1- in the double clamp until it reaches measurement -b- of 3...7 mm between suspension/bodywork and suspension/pre-silencer-arrow indicates direction of travel-.
–  In this position, tighten the double clamp bolts uniformly to 40 Nm.
–  After tightening the double clamp, check the dimension -b- and ensure it is correct.
–  Adjust the horizontal position of the post silencer.
