Vacuum hose connection diagram

Caution

Do not kink, twist or crush the vacuum lines when routing. This may cause breakdowns.

Note

t	Blue = vacuum control line for exhaust gas recirculation.

t	Grey = breather line from air filter housing.

t	Green = vacuum control line for turbocharger.

t	Red = vacuum supply line from vacuum pump.

1 -	Depression box

q	On turbocharger

q	With position sender for charge pressure positioner -G581-.

2 -	Vacuum line

q	removing and fitting → Rep. gr.47

3 -	Intake line from air mass meter to turbocharger

q	With union for breather line.

4 -	Charge pressure control solenoid valve -N75-

5 -	Vacuum pump

6 -	Exhaust gas recirculation cooler changeover valve -N345-

q	Checking changeover → Chapter.

7 -	Vacuum line to the cylinder head cover

8 -	Vacuum line to the vacuum unit

q	On exhaust gas recirculation cooler

9 -	Depression box

q	Cooler switching for exhaust gas recirculation

10 -	Vacuum line to the vacuum unit of the turbocharger

11 -	Vacuum connection on the cylinder head cover

The vacuum lines can also be completely removed from the air filter together with the bracket -1-.

For removing the charge pressure control solenoid valve -N75-, separate the plug connection -1-.

Unscrew nuts -1 + 2-.
