Important instructions for installing injectors (solenoid valve injectors)
l  The following components and seals or O-rings must always be replaced when an injector valve is removed or refitted: „Screws for the clamping piece“, „Copper washer“„O-ring of the injector valve mounting bore“.
l  On reinstallation, injectors (solenoid valve injectors) may only be used on the same cylinder.
l  High-pressure lines may only be re-installed on the same cylinder.
l  Check injectors (solenoid valve injectors) and installation area for cleanliness before installing.
l  Injectors (solenoid valve injectors) must be completely undamaged.
l  Lubricate all O-rings with engine oil or assembly oil before installing.
If a used injector is being re-installed:
–  Spray tip of injector with a rust removal spray. Wait approx. 5 minutes and wipe off soot particles and oil with a cloth.
   
–  To remove the old copper seal from the injector, carefully clamp the copper seal in a pair of pliers so the copper seal is just prevented from spinning. Then carefully pull and twist the injector out of the copper seal by hand.
–  Use a plastic socket to mount new copper seal.
Use a cloth soaked in engine oil or rust remover to remove soot particles on sealing surface of injectors (solenoid valve injectors) and sealing surface in cylinder head.
–  Clean injector bore using a cloth soaked in engine oil or rust remover. Do not damage sealing surface.

–  Renew seal for injector bore using assembly sleeve -T10377-.
l  Ensure that the injector bore is clean before fitting.
–  Place the clamping piece on the injector units.
–  Carefully insert injectors with clamping piece into injector bores in cylinder head.
  Caution
Proceed very carefully to prevent unnecessary dismantling or further damage.
Avoid damage to the injectors and prevent them coming into contact with the cylinder head.
–  Tighten securing bolts arrows first to Max. Tighten 1 to 2 Nm.
It should be possible to align the injectors while fitting the high-pressure lines by hand.
–  Install high-pressure pipes → Chapter.
–  Insert the injectors → Item
Remaining assembly is performed in reverse sequence.

t  After replacing the injectors (solenoid valve injectors), carry out the „correction value adoption“ → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
t  „Reading / adapting“ correction values.
