Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Base -VAS 6340-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
  W00-10380
–  Release the elastic clamp -1- with the pliers -VAS 6340- and detach the hose from the air filter casing.
–  Press the inserts -3- and remove the intake duct opening -4-
–  Remove the fastening bolt -2- and remove the air filter casing from its rubber housing -arrows- upwards.
Installing
  E24-10047
–  Position the air filter casing with the rubber attachments -arrows-on the pins.
–  Press the air filter casing down onto the pins.
–  Tighten the sealing bolt -2- to 8 Nm.
–  Attach the hose with the elastic clamp -1- to the air filter casing.
–  Press the intake opening -4- against the intake duct opening until the inserts -3- clip in.
