Ignition coils with output stage: removing and fitting Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Assembly tool -T10118-

t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- Carry out the following work: Removal:

–  Press locking lugs -arrows- and pull intake connection off -1- in -direction of arrow-.

–  Disconnect hose -1- at air cleaner housing. –  Pull air filter housing upwards off studs at positions -2- and -3-.

–  Release connector -1- and unplug. –  Remove bolts -2-. –  Pull ignition coils out of cylinder head cover. Installation Installation is in the reverse sequence of removal. Note the following:

Tightening torque:

Component	Specified torque .
Ignition coil with output stage	8 Nm
