Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
Carry out the following work:
  W00-0427
Removal:
–  Release connector -2- and unplug.
–  Unscrew bolt -arrow- and remove knock sensor 1 -G61--1- from engine.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse sequence of removal. Note the following:
The torque specification influences the function of knock sensor 1 -G61-.
  N28-10117
Tightening torque:
ComponentSpecified torque .
Knock sensor 1 -G61-20 Nm
