  Note!
Cylinder heads that have cracks between the valve seats can still be used without loss in their useful life, so long as the cracks are no wider than a maximum of 0.5 mm.

Checking camshaft axial clearance
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Universal dial gauge bracket -T20020-
t  Dial gauge
Take measurement with the tappets removed and with the first and last caps installed.
Wear limit: max. 0.15 mm

Note offset. Before installing camshaft fit bearing caps and determine fitting position.
