Removing
Removing
–  Remove the engine guard.
Engine codes AGP, AQM
–  Remove the upper part of the intake manifold → Item.
Engine codes AGR, ALH, ASV
–  Remove the pipe connecting the intercooler to the intake manifold.
Continue for all engine codes
–  Remove the upper toothed belt guard, the cylinder head cover and the vacuum pump
   
–  Turn the crankshaft to TDC for cylinder 1.
   A: Engines AGP, AQM
   B: Engines AGR, ALH, ASV
  Note!
To remove the threaded cap from the gearbox (section A), use the tool -U-20020-.

–  Immobilise the camshaft with the measuring ruler -T20038-.
  E13-0023
–  Immobilise the injection pump pinion with the cotter pin -U-40074-.
–  Loosen the tensioning roller nut.
–  Remove the toothed belt from the pinions corresponding to the camshaft, injection pump and tensioning roller.
–  Loosen 1/2 turn the bolt that secures the camshaft pinion.
  Note!
Loosen and tighten the bolt that secures the camshaft with the tool -T20018-; do not use the measuring ruler as a countersupport.
–  Pass a router through the hole in the rear guard of the toothed belt and separate the camshaft pinion from the cone there with a hammer blow.
–  Remove the camshaft pinion.
–  First remove the caps 5, 1 and 3. Loosen alternately and in crossing pattern the caps 2 and 4.
