Removal
–  Remove the soundproofing pan: → Bodywork-assembly work; Rep. Gr.50
–  Empty the engine oil.
–  Unscrewn the oil pan.
–  If necessary, release the oil pan by tapping lightly with a rubberhammer.
   
–  Eliminate all remains of seal from the engine block using a flatscraper.
–  Eliminate the remains of sealant from the oil pan by means of a rotating brush, for instance, a manual drill with a plastic brush attached (use protective goggles).
–  Clean the contact surfaces so that they are oil and grease free.
