Conditions
l  The pistons must not be positioned at TDC.
  Note!
t  When installing the camshaft No. 1 cylinder cams must point upwards.

t  When installing the bearing cap note offset, before installing camshaft fit bearing caps and determine fitting position.
Work sequence
–  Oil the camshaft contact surfaces.
–  Fit camshaft.
–  Tighten bearing caps 2 and 4 alternately and diagonally to 20 Nm.
–  Apply a little sealant -AMV 174 004 01- to the contact surface of bearing cap 1.
–  Install bearing caps 3, 1 and 5 and tighten to 20 Nm.
–  Insert woodruff key in camshaft.
–  Install camshaft sprocket and tighten to 100 Nm (Counter-hold with -T20018A-).
  Note!
The crankshaft should not be at TDC when the camshaft is turned, because the valves or the piston heads could be damaged.
The rest of the assembly is basically a reverse of the dismantling sequence.
Installing toothed belt and adjusting valve timing → Chapter.
  Note!
When new tappets have been installed the engine must not be started for about 30 minutes. Hydraulic compensation elements must settle (otherwise valves will strike pistons).
