Renewing crankshaft sealing flange - flywheel end > < Removing and installing cylinder block, sealing flange and flywheel

Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Counter support -T20018A-
t  Oil seal extractor -T20031B-
t  Fitting tool -T20081B-
t  Dynamometric keys -SAT 8010-

Removing
–  Remove ribbed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Dismount the wheel from the ribbed belt/crankshaft, blocking the said wheel into place with the pulley wrench -T20018A-.
–  Oil the threaded head of the retainer extraction device -T20031B- apply it and pressing it down hard, put it in threading it as far as posible into the holder.
   
–  Turn the middle bolt against the crankshaft until the retainer has been extracted.
Assemble
–  Lightly oil the seal lip for the retainer.
–  Place the holder into the guide coupling -T20081B/2- and place the whole unit over the cranshaft bearing.

–  Use the pushing device -T20081B/1- and press down the guide coupling-holder unit until the holder is right at the top. To do so, use the old attachment bolt for the vibration shock-absorber.
–  Remove the guide coupling -T20081B/2-.
–  Install crankshaft toothed belt sprocket. Hold with counter-hold -T20018A- and using a new securing bolt tighten to 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°).
  Note!
The turning further angle can be measured with protractor -T20030-.
When installing toothed belt and adjusting timing → Chapter.
–  Install ribbed belt → Chapter.
