Renewing crankshaft oil seal -belt pulley end- > < Checking semi-automatic toothed belt tensioning roller

1 - Bearing shells 1, 2, 4 und 5
q   Do not interchange used bearing shells (mark)
2 - Bolt
q   65 Nm
q   To measure radial clearance tighten to 65 Nm but not further.
3 - Bearing cap
q   Bearing cap “1”: Ribbed belt pulley end
q   Bearing cap “3” with cut-out for thrust washer
q   Bearing shell retaining lugs (cylinder block/bearing cap) must be on the same side above one another
4 - Bearing shell 3
5 - Thrust washer
q   For bearing cap “3”
q   Note fixing arrangement
6 - Crankshaft
q   Axial clearance, new: 0,07…0,18 mm Wear limit: 0,20 mm
q   Measure radial clearance using Plastigage New: 0,03…0,08 mm Wear limit: 0,17 mm
q   Do not rotate the crankshaft when measuring the radial clearance
q   Crankshaft dimensions → Chapter
7 - Bolt
q   10 Nm
8 - Bolt
q   Renew
q   60 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
9 - Flywheel
q   Hold with -T20075A- when removing and installing
10 - Sealing flange with seal
q   Only renew complete
q   Replacement sealing flanges are not supplied with a bonded seal and therefore they must be installed with an additional seal/gasket.
q   Position replacement sealing flange with the sleeve supplied
11 - Thrust washer
q   For cylinder block, bearing 3
12 - Sealing flange/oil pump
q   Removing and installing oil pump → Chapter
13 - Seal
q   Renewing → Chapter
14 - Gasket
q   Renew
15 - Follower
q   Coat with oil before installing oil pump
16 - Oil pump sprocket
17 - Oil pump
q   Various versions
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
