Removing
  Note
t  The turbocompressor is removed downwards.
t  Once removed the exhaust gas manifold, then the fuel supply pipe and the coolant return pipe will be loosened.
t  Pay attention to coding (obtain as necessary) for vehicles with coded radio/radio navigation system (RNS).
–  With ignition switched off, disconnect battery earth strap.
–  Remove engine cover .
–  Remove the right-hand complete half-shaft → Running gear, shafts, steering; Rep. Gr.40
–  Remove front exhaust pipe → Chapter.
–  Empty coolant → Chapter.
   
–  Remove heat insulation -1- of the air hose -2-, paying attention to the installation position.
–  Separate air hose -2-.
–  Release the two bolts of the upper air hose bracket on the underside of the vehicle.

–  Unscrew the coolant supply pipe-4- from the cylinder block; warning, on doing so a large amount of coolant will come out.
–  Remove bolts -1- from the exhaust gas turbocompressor oil return pipe .
–  Unbolt bracket -3- of the coolant return pipe on the cylinder block.
–  Loosen the bolts -2- of the turbocompressor bracket about two turns (do not remove completely).

–  Release the clips-1- and -2- using the counterhold -T20174- or thepliers -T20029- and separate the vacuum sleeves.
–  Unscrew bolt -arrow-.
–  Remove heat insulation of the upper air hose, paying attention to the installation position.

–  Release the hoses -1- and -2-using the counterhold -T20174- or the pliers -T20029-.
–  Undo bolts -3-, remove the engine cover mounting and move the rigid vacuum pipe to one side.
–  Release the bolts -4- of the upper air hose bracket.
–  Release the clip -5- and remove the upper air hose.
–  Remove turbocharger air intake pipe as shown:

–  Detach pressure regulating valve hose at the crankshaft sump vent pipe -1-.
–  Unplug the connector for the Supercharger pressure limitation solenoid valve -N75--2-.
–  Disconnect the hose -3- from the Supercharger pressure limitation solenoid valve -N75-.
–  Release clips fixing turbocompressor intake hose to air filter housing, and remove.
–  Separate the exhaust gas turbocompressor intake hose → Item.
–  Remove the protection plate from the intake manifold → Item.

–  Unbolt the bracket for the turbocompressor oil supply pipe -arrow-.

–  Unscrew the three securing bolts -arrows- of the turbocharger/exhaust manifold.
–  Remove the gasket, the turbocharger will drop slightly.

–  Remove all exhaust manifold nuts -arrows- (accessible from above).
–  Remove the washers and the exhaust manifold.

–  Unbolt the oil supply pipe -2- and the coolant return pipe -1- from the turbocompressor using a 8 mm. allen key.
–  Remove the spacer bush from below the mouth of the coolant return pipe.
–  Remove the lower turbocompressor mounting completely and remove the turbocompressor moving it downwards.
