Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -VAG 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor.
Requirements:
l  The exhaust system is cold.

Operation process
–  Loosen bolt connections of front clamp.
–  Adjust the position of the clamping support on the exhaust pipe when considering the dimensions -a-. Dimension -a- = 5 mm

–  Align the position of the connecting support so that the threaded end does not protrude over the bottom edge of the support -arrow-.
–  Slightly tighten the screw connection in front of the connecting support.

–  Then align the exhaust system in the suspension elements when considering the dimension -a-. The -arrow- points forwards. Dimension -a- = 3 ... 7 mm.
  N26-10664
–  Then evenly tighten securing nuts -arrows- of foremost clamp. Tightening torque: M8 = 25 Nm, M10 = 40 Nm.
–  After tightening the connecting support, check the alignment dimension and adjust if necessary.
