Removing and installing pressure differential senderG505 (right-hand drive vehicles) > < Assembly overview - catalytic converter with non-engine-mounted particulate filter (right-hand drive vehicles)
Tightening exhaust gas temperature sender 3G495 (right-hand drive vehicles)
Tightening exhaust gas temperature sender 3 -G495- (right-hand drive vehicles)
Tightening torque for exhaust temperature sender 3 -G495- upstream of non-engine-mounted particulate filter (right-hand drive vehicles)
   
Use torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- with spanner from tool set -T10395/6- to tighten.
  WARNING
The torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- must be set to 29 Nm in this case.
Extending the torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- with the spanner from tool set -T10395/6- allows the correct torque of 45 Nm to be achieved.
Lubricate thread of sender using high-temperature paste -G 052 112 A3-.
Tightening torque for exhaust temperature sender 4 -G648- downstream of non-engine-mounted particulate filter (right-hand drive vehicles)

Use torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- with spanner from tool set -T10395/6- to tighten.
  WARNING
The torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- must be set to 29 Nm in this case.
Lubricate thread of sender using high-temperature paste -G 052 112 A3-.
Extending the torque wrench -V.A.G 1331- with the spanner from tool set -T10395/6- allows the correct torque of 45 Nm to be achieved.
