Removing and installing charge air pipe »hot« side
   
Operation process
–  Loosen the engine cover at the locations -arrows- and remove.
–  With ignition switched off, disconnect earth connection from battery. → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove battery and battery carrier → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Dismount the air filter housing together with the air mass meter and the connecting pipe → Chapter.
–  Remove the soundproofing or the underbody protection → Bodywork, exterior assembly work; Rep. gr.50.

–  Remove connecting hose on »hot side« from charge air pipe. To do this, detach hose clips -1-.

–  Unscrew bolts -2, 5- and -arrows-.
–  Lay the electric lines and hoses on the left air duct pipe free using the lever -80 200-.
–  Loosen hose clip -3- and detach air pipe (left-side).
  Note
-Items 1 and 4- can be disregarded.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  First start all securing bolts on charge air pipe. Then tighten. Tightening torque: → Item.
Replace damaged cable ties and clips.
