WARNING
When opening the expansion tank, extremely hot vapour may be released; cover the cap with a cloth and open carefully.

When the engine is hot the cooling system is under pressure. If necessary, relieve pressure before commencing repair work.

Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment)

The use of a hose clip pliers -VAS 6499- is recommended for fitting spring-type hose clips.
t
Renew gaskets and seals.
t
The arrow markings on the coolant pipes and on the ends of the hoses must be aligned with each other.
