Pressure differential senderG505: Removing and installing.
Pressure differential sender -G505-: Removing and installing.

Pressure differential sender -G505- determines charge status of particulate filter. It can only be connected by two lines, one upstream and one downstream of the particle filter or with a line upstream of the particle filter only. In this case, the pressure differential sender measures ambient pressure with an open line and calculates the pressure differential from this.
   
Removing
–  Loosen the engine cover at the locations -arrows- and remove.

–  Pull electrical connector -2- from pressure differential sender -G505-.
–  Unscrew bolt -3-, remove pressure differential sender -G505-.
–  Carefully pull hoses straight off connections (the connections can easily break off pressure differential sender -G505-).
Fitting
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Specified torque → Chapter „Assembly overview - front exhaust pipe with particulate filter“.
  Note
t  Before installing, blow out hoses of pressure differential sender -G505- to particulate filter with compressed air (hoses can become obstructed or may ice up due to condensation).
t  Make sure that hoses are securely fitted and seal properly.
t  If pressure hoses have been detached from particulate filter, tighten → Chapter.
After replacing the pressure differential sender -G505- and / or the particle filter, a readopting must be carried out again. (The procedure is also described under Guided Functions).
Select the correct vehicle in Guided Fault Finding.
–  Press „GoTo“ button.
–  Press „Function/component selection“.
–  „Choose engine assembly (Rep.-Group 01, 10–39)“.
–  Select the corresponding engine code.
–  „01 - Self-diagnosis compatible systems“
–  Select „01 - Direct diesel injection and diesel pre-heating system EDC 17“ .
–  Select „01 - Functions“ .
–  Select „01 - Reset the learn values of the pressure differential sender DPF“
