Oil pump: removing and installing
Oil pump: removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
t  Tightening torques → Anchor
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -VAG 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor.
Removing
–  Remove oil sump and baffle plate → Chapter.
  W00-0427
–  Unscrew the bolt -2-.
–  Take chain sprocket off oil pump shaft.
–  Unscrew the bolts -1- and -3- and remove the oil pump.
Installing
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Set the guide pins → Item on the upper part of the oil pump.
l  Installation position of oil pump shaft/sprocket: Attachment only possible on one position.
–  Install sump → Chapter.
