Removing
l  Engine removed → Chapter.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Remove front sealing flange → Chapter.
–  Remove drive chain for oil pump → Item and chain tensioner → Item.
–  Remove gear with standard commercial puller -2- while protecting crank journals with compression tool -40-105--1-.

Installing
  WARNING
Wear protective gloves!
–  Heat the chain sprocket in the oven for about 15 minutes at 220 ºC.
–  Fit chain sprocket on end of crankshaft using pliers.
l  Fitting position: The broad collar of the sprocket wheel points towards the engine.
–  Push sprocket onto crankshaft as far as the stop using drift sleeve -30-100-.
