  Note
In engines with the engine code CAGA, the right charged air cooler is no longer required from 09.2009.
–  Observe rules for cleanliness → Chapter.
   
1 - Air duct
q   To lock carrier and turbocharger
q   Remove all oil and grease before installing
q   Removing and installing → Rep. gr.50
2 - Air hose
q   To turbocharger
q   Must be free of oil and grease when installing
3 - Air duct
q   For charge air cooler (right-side)
4 - Charge air cooler (right-side)
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
5 - Rubber grommet
6 - Mounting
7 - Bracket for charge air cooler (right-side)
8 - Seal
q   Renew if damaged or leaking.
9 - Air hose
q   To intake manifold
q   Remove all oil and grease before installing
10 - O ring
q   Replace
11 - Charge air pressure sender -G31-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Only in charge air cooler (left-side)
12 - 5 Nm
13 - Mounting
14 - Bracket for charge air cooler (left-side)
15 - Rubber grommet
16 - 22 Nm
17 - Charge air cooler (left-side)
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
18 - Air duct
q   For charge air cooler (left-side)

   
Install air hoses with screw clamps.
  Note
To secure the air hoses properly at their connections, spray rust remover onto the worm thread of the used hose clips before installing.
Specified torques for
1 - Hose clamp-a- = 13 mm wide: 5.5 Nm
2 - Hose clamp-b- = 9 mm wide: 3 Nm
