Fuel tank breather: checking > < Active carbon filter system

1 - Vent pipe
q   Check for secure seating.
2 - Pressure retention valve with connection hose
q   Check for secure seating.
q   Coming from fuel tank gravitational valve
3 - Breather connection
q   Visible from below
4 - 10 Nm
5 - Throttle valve control mechanism -J338-
6 - Solenoid valve 1 for active carbon filter -N80-
q   Valve closed with ignition switched off
q   When the engine is warm the valve will be activated from the engine control unit (pulsed)
7 - Connector
8 - Active carbon filter
q   Location: in right rear wheel housing
q   Remove right rear wheel housing
q   Remove the pressure retention valve -2- and the vent pipe -1- (press safety ring).
q   Unscrew bolt -4-.
