1 - Knock sensor -G61-
q   Gold plated contacts
2 - Connector
q   For knock sensor -G61-
3 - 20 Nm
q   The torque value has an impact on the working order of the knock sensor -G61-
4 - Oil dipstick
q   The oil level must not be above the max. mark on dipstick!
5 - Coolant pipe
q   Secured to engine block
q   Diagram of coolant hose connections → Chapter
6 - Mounting
q   For the Ignition coil
7 - Mounting
8 - 10 Nm
9 - Oil filter mounting
q   → Item
10 - 15 Nm +1/4 turn (90º)
q   Replace
11 - Oil filter
q   Loosen using the rotation tool -U 40078- or a universal filter remover
q   Tighten by hand
q   Observe the fitting instructions printed on the filter
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Engine speed sender -G28-
14 - Gasket
q   Replace if damaged or worn
15 - O-ring
q   Replace if damaged or worn
16 - 40 Nm
17 - Connection nozzle
18 - 15 Nm
19 - Coolant thermostat
q   Check: heat the thermostat in water
q   Beginning of opening: approx. 87 ?
q   End: approx. 102 °C
q   Opening distance: at least 7 mm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
20 - 45 Nm
21 - Bracket for additional units
q   For poly-V belt tensioning roller, alternator and air conditioner (heating) compressor
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
22 - Engine block
q   Sealing flanges: removing and installing → Chapter
q   Crankshaft: removing and installing → Chapter
q   Piston and piston rod: removing and installing → Chapter
