Oil pump: Removing and installing
Oil pump: Removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor
t  Tightening torques → Anchor
Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Tightening torque -VAG 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
–  Remove the baffle plate → Item.

–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Take chain sprocket off oil pump shaft.
–  Unscrew the bolts -1- and -3- and take out the oil pump.
Installing
Fit in reverse order from removal, remembering the following:
–  Fit the dowel sleeves → Item above the oil pump.
l  Installation position: Oil pump shaft / sprocket: installation only permitted in one position.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
Tightening torques
  A17-0209

l  1) Renew bolt.
