Installation position of the multi-pin connector for the injector-pump units t  To remove the connector, pull on the release pin -arrow 1- and release the knurled nut -arrow 2-.

Installation location for accelerator position sensor -G79- and accelerator position sensor 2 -G185- t  To remove the electrical connector -2-, press on the release tab and release cable guide -1-. t  Removing and fitting → Rep. Gr.20   Note Diagram shows set-up on left-hand drive vehicles.

Installation location for brake light switch -F- and brake pedal switch -F63- t  On the pedal support, above the brake pedal-arrow-.   Note

As of 22.06, the brake light switch is fitted along with the brake pump.

Location of the control unit of the automatic preheating cycle -J179- t  -Pos. 1- of the relay carrier below the electric module in the engine compartment.

Installation position for the coolant temperature sensor -G62- t  To the left of the engine -arrow-.

Installation position in the dashboard, on the left 1 -  Electronic pressure limiter valve for supercharger -N75- 2 -  Orange electrical connector for the temperature sensor behind particle filter -G527- 3 -  Brown electrical connector for the exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bedplate 1 -G448- 4 -  Black electrical connector for the lambda probe -G39- 5 -  Black electrical connector for the exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 -G235-

Mounting position on top, in the particle filter 3 -  Lambda probe -G39- with lambda probe heating -Z19-; removing and installing → Chapter 4 -  Pressure hose towards exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- 5 -  Exhaust gas temperature sender 2, bedplate 1 -G448-: Removing and installing   Note Ignore positions -1- and -2-.

Mounting position below, in the particle filter 1 -  Temperature sensor after particle filter -G527-; removal and installation 2 -  Pressure hose towards exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450-

Installation location for exhaust gas temperature sensor 1 -G235- t  In exhaust manifold -arrow-. t  removing and installing → Chapter

Installation location forexhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212- t  Install on rear of intake manifold. t  Removing and fitting → Chapter 1 -  Connector forexhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212-   Note Ignore the -arrows-.

Installation position of the exhaust gas recirculation radiator change-over valve -N345- t  To the left, in the intake manifold -arrow-.

Installation position of the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- t  On top, in the intake manifold -arrow-. t  Removing and fitting → Chapter

Installation position of the fuel temperature sender -G81- t  In front, on the engine -arrow-.

Installation position of the coolant temperature sensor, at the radiator outlet -G83- t  On the connection sleeve of the thermostat -arrow-.

Installation position of the engine revolution sensor -G28- t  On flywheel side of engine. t  Removing and fitting → Chapter 1 -  Engine speed sender -G28- 2 -  Generator wheel:

Fitting location of charge air pressure sensor -G31- with intake air temperature sensor -G42- t  On the intercooler, on the front right hand side of the engine compartment-arrow-.

Installation position of the triple connector for the Hall sender -G40- t  At the front of the engine, under the intake manifold -arrow-.

Installation position of the Hall sender -G40- t  On the right on the engine, on the camshaft timing belt sprocket -arrow-.
