1 - 26 Nm
2 - Securing strap
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Installation position: Fixing point (holes) point in direction of travel
3 - Heatshield
q   For fuel tank
q   May change size depending of model
4 - Fuel supply line
q   Black colour
q   To fuel filter
q   Do not bend the belt
q   Install on fuel tank
5 - Fuel return line
q   Blue colour
q   To fuel radiator
q   Do not bend the belt
q   Install on fuel tank
6 - Electric connector
q   For fuel pump (pre-supply pump) -G6- and fuel gauge sender -G-
7 - Gasket
q   If this is damaged, replace it
8 - Plug
q   Held using anti-loss fastener on the fuel tank cover unit
9 - Earth connection
q   To divert electrostatic charge
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Ensure that connector is seated properly and secure lines with the collared securing bolt for fuel filler neck → Item
q   After installation, use an ohmmeter to check the electrical connection between the metal ring on the fuel filler neck and a bare metal part on the body - specification: approx. 0 Ω
10 - Seal bolt -11 Nm
q   Secures fuel filler neck and earth connection
11 - Fuel tank
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
12 - 26 Nm
13 - Lock washer
q   Removing: Turn to the left
q   Installing: Tighten to 2 Nm

   
Position of earth connection
–  Route earth connection as shown in illustrations.
–  First engage contact tab -4- of earth connection in mounting hole on fuel tank -1- and then press in spacer bush -5-.
–  Ensure connector -3- of the earth connection fits correctly to the fuel tank filler metal ring -2-.

–  Secure contact tab of earth wire to fuel filler neck with collared securing bolt -arrow-.
  WARNING
After installation, use an ohmmeter to check the electrical connection between the metal ring on the fuel filler neck and a bare metal part on the body:
Specification: approx. 0 Ohm
